Built in 1927, US Route 51 has a history forever linked with Jazz and Blues music. It was the road that many traveling musicians used to make their living, playing gigs between cities such as Jackson, Mississippi and Memphis Tennessee, which were hotbeds of the American soundscape at the time.
Inspired by the musicians that have traveled this road and contributed to the evolution of music today, Alvarez presents the Blues51.
