Used 1955 Gretsch 6199 Convertible 'Sal Salvador' Copper Mist and White

This gorgeous archtop has all the charm a Gretsch could give. The body is in great shape, it just has the tell-tale signs of age from checking and a handful minor dings and scratches here and there. As with any binding this age, the binding on this particular one has shrunk a little, but is still structurally sound. The neck is still very clean with hardly any blemishes on the back. The headstock shows a couple of minuscule dings and checking lines too, along with some wear at the top edge. The one cause for concern is separation at the heel (see photos), but it has been perfectly stable thus far. Overall, this Convertible looks incredible!
